‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers indicate that the PCPD has really failed Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson). She has been tortured by Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) and Dr. Damon Montague (Darin Toonder).
They never figured it out and now that they have, they don’t yet know how to prove it. So, away Sasha goes, back to Ferncliff. Is her life now in danger?
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Victim of Greed
Gladys Corbin has a terrible gambling problem. For months she has been playing poker at Selina Wu’s (Lydia Look) tables and she has lost a lot of money. She owes Selina and doesn’t have the funds to pay.
Gladys was Sasha’s guardian because Sasha did face some mental health challenges and instability after her son and her husband both died. This guardianship meant that Gladys had control over Sasha’s money. She was able to skim money out of her accounts to pay Selina.
When Sasha began to feel better, she sought to dissolve the guardianship. This was a worry to Gladys, who needed to keep access to Sasha’s funds.
The court appointed a doctor to evaluate Sasha to see if she was ready for guardianship dissolution. It turns out that the person they appointed was none other than Dr. Damon Montague, a gambling partner of Gladys.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Terrible Torture
Montague gave Sasha a prescription that interfered with the antidepressants she was taking. She ended up with hallucinations. While having one of these hallucinations, she stabbed Cody Bell (Josh Kelly). Thie resulted in her being sent to Ferncliff, which is an institution for the criminally insane.
Here, Montague has been drugging her, while reporting that she is getting drugs herself. It also appears that he was getting ready to kill her, because he had a strong dose on him the last time he was headed for her room.
Cody busted Sasha out by beating up Montague, tying him up, and stealing his clothes. They got some help from Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) but have not been able to prove what Gladys and Montague were up to.
Instead of coming to the PCPD to confess and to testify against Montague, Gladys called the PCPD and got Sasha arrested. She is headed back to Ferncliff, and Dante and company just stood there shell shocked.
The force needs someone who can outmaneuver Gladys and Dr. Montague. They shouldn’t be able to get away with their crimes.
Who do you think will come to Sasha’s aid? Will Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) do something since he just found out about what Gladys has been up to? Will he help Sasha before it is too late? The PCPD obviously can’t figure out how to keep her safe.
