‘General Hospital’ spoilers reveal that an opportunistic Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) protects herself so she can hide what she and Dr. Montague (Darin Toonder) are doing to Sasha Corbin (Sofia Mattsson).
Sasha, Cody Bell (Josh Kelly), Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), and Dante Falconari (Dominic Zamprogna) wanted to expose what Gladys and Dr. Montague were doing by guilting Gladys to confess to her crimes so she could have one last chance with her daughter in law (who actually thought that would work?)
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Gladys Calls the Cops on Sasha
However, there has been a wrinkle in the plan. Gladys betrayed Sasha again (let me put on my big, surprised face).
Gladys promised Sasha she would go to the police and confess and help Sasha put Dr. Montague in jail, but instead of doing the right thing, she walked straight out the door and called the cops to rat out Sasha.
Within minutes, the police were at the door to take Sasha back to Ferncliff. As Gladys‘s character becomes more evil, selfish, and greedy, Sasha continues to be naïve in thinking that everyone else has the same good in them that she does. She gave Gladys another chance, but Gladys spit in her face.
Now, Sasha is in more danger than ever from Dr. Montague, who likely intends to kill her. She is back in restraints, preparing for another round of poison from Dr. Montague.
The one saving grace for Sasha and Cody is something General Hospital probably will not use. Dante could come clean to Mac Scorpio (John J. York) about Cody being his son, which might be enough to change the story’s direction.
However, considering Mac’s brief hiatus, GH may not be willing to drop that bomb just yet. Sasha is in significant trouble because Cody is in custody and likely won’t be able to save her this time.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Back to Ferncliff
Dr. Evil, as the devil himself, will frame Cody for bringing drugs into Ferncliff for Sasha, and a big mess will ensue, assuring that Gladys is the only person who could rescue Sasha from a tragic fate. We all know how that’s going to go.
Montague approached Gladys at the police station and told her he would “take care of Sasha.” Gladys doesn’t seem to care what he means by that because she is a parasite, helping Dr. Montague suck the life out of Sasha.
We were genuinely hoping we would see Sasha empower herself, stand up to Gladys, and take back her life, but no.
Viewers will get yet another round of poor Sasha being subjected to Dr. Montague’s lethal bedside manner and more of the horror story.
We were looking forward to the love story that could develop between her and Cody, and instead, the writers pulled this again.
How often do we need to hear Sasha screaming at the top of her lungs for Dr. Montague to leave her alone and stop injecting her with God knows what?
It is terrible to watch Sasha suffer, but General Hospital has made this character do nothing but suffer.
We need the show to give Sasha the happy ending and Gladys what she deserves.
