‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) had better watch his step. He is in a precarious position since he has been sleeping with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Now that she is being demoted, how is he going to keep both her and Victor “happy”?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Agitated and Upset
Victoria Newman is not pleased. Her father just decided to take over his company again. While it is his company and he can do as he wishes, she has been the CEO for quite some time. She has done an exceptional job, and he has nothing to complain about really. In fact, some of his own decisions seem disjointed and illogical.
Victor contends that things are disjointed and confused, and he needs to take over to establish unity again. It appears however that he is the one who brings about the confusion with his own contrary decisions.
For example, he invited Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) to open a design division in Newman Enterprises. Then shortly thereafter, he changed his mind and withdrew the offer.
He repeatedly brings Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) back and gives him another chance. Then when Adam hasn’t shown change, he fires him. So, it seems that the real cause of the disjointedness is Victor Newman.
Victor has told Victoria that he will be the head of the company now and she will be his second in command. She is upset and agitated by this news.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Using Nate
Victor talks to Nate Hastings about Victoria and her reactions to the news. He wants to know if Victoria is planning to fight him on this transfer of power. Victor wants to get an idea of what she will do next. He wants Nate to also soften Victoria up and help her to accept this so that the transition is smooth.
Nate acts like a “yes” man and he says he will do whatever he can for Victoria and for the success of Newman Enterprises. He also says that she is not planning on anything that he knows of.
When Victoria finds out that her father is talking to Nate this way, she is irate. She thinks that Nate is sucking up to her father since he is taking over the company. Nate doesn’t really seem to be on her side completely like she needs him to be. He’s showing that he is only out for number 1, Team Nate.
