When Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) decided that he needed a separation from Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) because of her deception, he needed someone to distract him. He was hurting and in pain. He began to flirt with Audra and the two of them had a connection.
The couple ended up sleeping together and then Audra offered Kyle a job at Newman Media. For her part, Audra has always contended that this fling with Kyle is not too serious. But is that really the case? Do their feelings for each other go more deeply than either of them admit?

Audra is about to lose her CEO job at Newman Media. Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is restructuring the company. Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) is currently the co-CEO of Newman Enterprises. He is moving Nikki over to head Newman Media. She is going to take over as CEO.
Audra is being offered the COO position. She will be second in command. First, she has to decide is she wants to stay with Newman Media in a demoted position or if she is going to move on.
But, she also heard from Nikki that her job offer is conditional. In order to be the COO, she has to stop this affair with Kyle Newman.
Nikki is unhappy about this affair because Summer Newman is her granddaughter. While this is unprofessional to get involved in someone’s personal life, Nikki feels she has the right as newly chosen CEO. She wants to do what she can for Summer and believes that Summer and Kyle deserve a chance.
What do you think Audra will decide? Is this job with the Newmans the end all, be all for her? Is there something else she could do so that she could keep up her relationship with Kyle?
She says the job is the most important thing to her and this relationship with Kyle isn’t, but is that really how she feels when push comes to shove?
