‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveal that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) will do whatever it takes to get Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) out of jail. Carly’s recent scenes with Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) showed her asking Diane to help Drew.
Diane said the best way to help Drew may be to let him serve his sentence, even though it is wrong and unfair. However, Diane mentioned she may be able to argue that the judge in the case is biased since he was unreasonably harsh with the sentence.
Carly may not want to wait too long to get Drew free. Cyrus’s enemies may target Drew because he saved Cyrus’s life. Carly doesn’t want to take any chances.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Carly Asks Sonny for Help
Carly may resort to asking Sonny (Maurice Benard) to pull strings to get Drew out of jail. Longtime fans may remember Sonny was sentenced to life in prison for killing A.J. Quartermaine (Sean Kanan).
Sonny breaks out of jail and finds an explosive device on the Haunted Star, where Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is holding a party. He jumps overboard with the bomb to rescue Michael.
Sonny was given a pardon from the governor of New York because his daughter was on the boat at the time.
He may be able to convince the governor to give Drew a pardon as well, or at the very least, get him out of jail early.
Sonny has already gone out of his way for Carly’s sake to help Drew while in Pentonville. Sonny has told Carly several times that he only wants her to be happy and knows Drew makes her happy.
It is not too much of a stretch to think that he would go even further to help Drew if Carly asked him to. Sonny would probably do anything to help Drew because he still loves Carly.
Even though Sonny is engaged to Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), fans know it is just a matter of time before Sonny and Carly reconnect.
Drew and Carly are good for each other, but Sonny and Carly always say “I do” in the end. The question is, will Drew accept help from Sonny?
He may if it means he gets to come home and be with Carly and see his daughter, Scout Cain (Cosette Abinante).
‘General Hospital Spoilers’: A Top Secret Mission
Another possibility is that Drew is called upon for a special mission for the WSB. The former Naval officer could utilize his skills to help the organization with a top-secret case.
It would be a way to introduce some action into the story and add an element of mystery. It would inject some intrigue into the storyline.
Three years for insider trading is pretty harsh. Drew did not profit from the sale. He also is a decorated Naval officer.
It does seem like Judge Kim had some grudge against Drew and just made an example out of him. So maybe Diane could come up with a way to call the judge into question.
Drew is in danger at Pentonville, and someone needs to step up and help.
