“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers here and we’re ready to keep things moving and this looks like it’s going to be a fun one.
We’re in for some fun confrontations and plotting as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden)’s plans are figured out, and there could be some fun consequences coming due to his plotting.
Let’s get to some spoilers!
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Dodging accountability
Victor loves nothing more than playing God with people’s lives, and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) are going to confront him for pulling the rug out from under Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope).
This is part of his plan as it’ll bring the brothers together over something, but it also doesn’t make sense.
While Victor will manipulate anyone into doing what he wants them to, he’s got another aspect that will only make sense in his universe and because the writers will play a hand in it.
Given Adam’s penchant for not falling into line, it looks like Victor will plan to replace him with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). He likes Nate while Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) doesn’t and Victor will ask her to trust him on this.
In the end, Victor won’t budge and Adam, Nick, and Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) will consider breaking away from Newman Enterprises since half of the company is Sharon’s.
That should ruffle some feathers.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Victor’s plot is discovered
Nate’s going to be pretty busy making up with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) as they spend some quality time together.
During their peacemaking, Victor will give Nate a call about meeting and when he and Victoria talk about it, she’ll realize Victor’s planning to replace Adam with Nate and she’s not a fan of that.
It’ll take away their dynamic, though there is a chance it’ll lead to the merger Nate broached before, but chances are it’ll just lead to a bigger Newman war when the companies split and Victor will have to eat crow.
Though knowing him, that’s probably part of his plan as well. After all, he never makes a mistake and if he does it still works out in his favor.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers: Kyle covers for Audra
In a fun twist, Victoria will be happy to have Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) onboard, and he’ll be happy to be working somewhere that has no family drama.
“The Young and the Restless” Spoilers think he must be new in Genoa City or hit his head, but we digress.
Their talk will turn to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) and the blackmail over keeping the rape buried. Kyle will be surprised at what was covered up, but it’ll work in their favor as Victoria will think he’s clueless about the whole thing.
When he and Audra meet up, they’ll share notes and the subject will come up, but it won’t bother Kyle and the fact he seemed to smooth things over will help their position in the long term.
