Ridge Forrester has been embroiled in a rivalry for years between Brooke and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen). They have both been vying for his attention and affection for ages. After Brooke and Taylor tried to be friends and “swear off Ridge”, they both ended up expressing their love for him.
Ridge has a history with both women. He was married to Taylor for three years before they got a divorce. He married Brooke in 1994 but it was declared invalid, perhaps because that was during the time he was married to Taylor.
Ridge married Brooke again in 1998 but it was annulled. Brooke and Ridge headed to the altar several more times in the last few years and faced opposition along the way.
If Ridge and Brooke decide to get married again, will they be able to make it? Will their marriage survive this time?
‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Children Troubles
In the past, Brooke and Ridge faced temptation from other lovers. Taylor was always waiting in the wings for Ridge, wanting him back. Brooke had relationships with Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan). Now, it seems like the biggest obstacle to the couple’s happiness is their children.
Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson) wanted Ridge and Taylor back together and tried to sabotage his marriage to Brooke. Now Hope Logan Spencer is getting a divorce and is having an affair with Thomas.
This is something that worries Brooke and puts her in a weird position with Ridge. Ridge supports Thomas and his efforts to change, and Brooke doesn’t want Hope and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) to separate.
Their children’s struggles and relationships are going to put added pressure on Ridge and Brooke. Are they going to be able to focus on their own relationship in the midst of all this turmoil with their children? What do you think?
