‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is not sure what to think of the wedding gift that she received from Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman). She is not sure what it means and what he is up to. What do you think?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Battle
Jack and Ashley have been at war…again. This time, Ashley has been upset by the arrival of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Diane faked her death long ago and disappeared for years. Now she has returned to Genoa City. Jack has forgiven her and they have gotten married.
As if that wasn’t difficult enough for Ashley, Jack also decided on his own to give Diane a job at Jabot. He made her Chief Talent Office, which gives her a lot of influence in the company.
Ashley is sure that Diane has terrible intentions and is going to destroy her company. She has been trying to do all she can to make a change at Jabot, but it hasn’t worked. She was going to try to stage a coup to remove her brother as CEO, but she didn’t have the support she needed.
Ashley decided to leave Jabot and start a company with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) called Simply Ashley. The plan has been that she will make Simply Ashley into a strong competitor. After Diane weakens Jabot, they will be able to take it over and place Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) in charge.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Gift
Tucker and Ashley just got married at the Chancellor-Winters mansion. Jack was against it, but he went ahead and came to the wedding. Ashley agreed that he could bring Diane, even though she still does not like her and trust her. It seems like the siblings are trying.
When Jack and Diane talked before the wedding about the fate of Jabot, Jack said he still had “an ace up his sleeve”. He refuses to say something congratulatory after the ceremony, but he makes Diane talk.
Then, he says he has a wedding gift for Ashley. He gives Ashley her company assets. She immediately wants to know “what the catch is”.
