‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) is not handling his situation very well. He is believing the worst and is pushing away the people he loves. Will they stick with him, or will he succeed at alienating everyone around him?
‘General Hospital’ Spoiler: Wrong Place at the Wrong Time
When shots rang out at the Metro Court pool, everyone was terrified. It was also unclear who the target was, but a bullet ricocheted and ended up hitting Curtis in the back. It hit Curtis in the spine.
The doctors at General Hospital had to do emergency surgery and they almost lost him. In fact, he ends up having a near death experience where he sees and talks to his mother.
He also almost sees his brother, but he hears TJ Ashford’s (Tajh Bellow) voice calling him back. He fights through and makes it back from the brink of death.
Unfortunately for Curtis, the bullet did a lot of damage. Upon testing after coming to, the doctors find that his legs are paralyzed. He doesn’t feel anything when they test for sensation. At this point they are doing a lot of tests to find out what the prognosis is. Curtis is anxious about what the results will be.

Curtis is struggling to wait for the results for all of the testing. He has been on his phone, self-diagnosing his situation. From what he has found, the expectation is not good. The sites he read indicate that he will probably never be able to walk again. That is devastating news for him.
Portia has been by his side, even though the two of them have had some difficulties. They separated for a time when it her secret came out at the wedding that Curtis is actually Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) biological father.
Then, recently, Portia found out through her brother that Curtis kissed Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) while they were separated.

These bumps have been difficult for the couple, but they were working on trying to restore their relationship. When Curtis was injured and Portia realized she might lose him forever, she realized how much she cares about him. She decided to drop her hours at work so she could be more devoted to his care.
Portia even has ideas about moving somewhere else or renovating his house so that he can navigate it if this injury is permanent. She is thinking ahead, determining how they can overcome this together. He tells her that she should walk away.
She doesn’t want to be with a paralyzed man. He wants her to move on with her life. How will Portia react? Will she even consider that, or will she stay by his side regardless of how hard he pushes?
