Things are getting interesting in Genoa City with so many power plays in action, and ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers are ready with plenty of popcorn for what’s about to come our way.
It’s always fun to see people that thought they were secure find out they’re really not and still have to prove themselves. History is never easy to leave in the past, and it can have some serious teeth if kicked hard enough.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 26: Everything’s set
With their plan of action in place, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will flesh out her plan to for Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) to bring down Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson)’s company from the inside, but there are going to be a couple of problems.
The issues seem to be about Billy’s past as Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) will be reluctant to put Billy in a position where he could regress after all of the positive strides he made.
It’ll bring up old feelings and concerns, but we think they’ll handle it pretty well and move on, but it will be tense for a minute or two.
Once they get started, we’re looking forward to seeing how this plays out. With Billy being the wildcard, it could go any number of directions.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 26: In his place
Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) has been rocketing up the power structure in Newman Enterprises, and it’s going to earn him a sit down with none other than Victor Newman (Eric Braeden).
As luck would have it, Nate will be filling in for Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) while she and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) are away on business.
So, Nate’s going to be getting comfortable in the big chair and thinking of possibilities, and that’s where Victor will remind him he’s not a Newman.
Yep, some good old fashioned nepotism will rear it’s head when Victor informs Nate that no one not named Newman will ever run his company.
It’ll be a harsh reminder that no matter how much he proves himself, Nate will never get higher than he is right now.
This could set up a clash down the road if Nate wants to try to usurp Victor, but we don’t think it’ll get that far. Don’t get us wrong, “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers are all for Victor getting knocked down a few pegs, but we don’t think Nate will be the one to do it.
Will Billy be able to follow through or will he revert to old habits once he’s in Ashley’s company? Let us know below and check back with “The Young and the Restless” Spoilers for the latest updates, spoilers, and speculation around.
