‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is finally getting honest. As she does, what will this mean for the company, Newman Enterprises? What will it mean for Victoria’s job?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Getting Her Way
Y&R’s Victoria became involved romantically with Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic), her CEO of Newman Media. She is attracted to Nate’s drive for success and his ambition.
They both think alike and want the world. Having him in her bed wasn’t enough for her though. She decided that she also wanted him to be her right-hand man in the office.
When her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) began to face some difficult personal challenges, Victoria saw her chance.
She said that she wanted to give Nick a leave of absence from work so he could deal with the family issues that he was facing. Nick didn’t want to take a break, but Victoria was determined that he would.
Nick was given a leave and Nate was put into his place “temporarily”. Even though this was touted as temporary and best for Nick, Victoria quickly went to work dissolving Nick’s support team.
She assigned them to different jobs, and they are no longer in position to work for Nick when he returns. This was a clear signal that she has no interest of bringing her brother back to Newman Enterprises.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: An Admission
When Nick goes to chat with Victoria and find out about his support team, he lets her know that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has made him an offer.
Nick says that Victor wants him to team up with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman). Victoria is surprised by this but then says that it might be good because Adam needs a voice of reason.
She admits to Nick that she doesn’t really need that from him. Victoria is a vicious and brutal CEO and she likes the way she runs the company. Nate is her type, and she doesn’t think she needs her brother anymore.
She finally seems to become a little more transparent, showing that this has been her design all along. She wants Nick to be out completely.
The question is, when will this come back to bite her? Nate is slimy and he definitely has his own agenda. When will he hurt Victoria, as her family anticipates that he will? Was axing her brother the best choice or has Victoria chosen a pathway of pain? What do you think?
