‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) will undoubtedly be deeply angered if Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) chooses to forgive Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), especially considering Phyllis’ presence and newfound freedom in Genoa City.
Phyllis played a significant role in Diane’s imprisonment and was also responsible for the deterioration of Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman’s (Allison Lanier) marriage.
While forgiveness won’t be immediate, it remains a possibility. Phyllis has a long road ahead of her to earn that forgiveness, but Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has faith in her ability to accomplish it.
Jack previously forgave Diane for her own past mistakes, so Phyllis might be able to sway him to extend forgiveness to her as well, much to Diane’s fury.

This situation has the potential to become a breaking point for Diane and Jack’s current relationship. If Jack dares to overcome Phyllis‘ grievous actions in Diane’s eyes, it could mark the beginning of the end for their partnership.
As seen in Jack’s history with Diane, forgiveness often serves as the initial step towards a melodramatic reunion.
The same principle may apply to Jack and Phyllis if Tucker’s belief in Phyllis’ persuasive abilities holds true. Will Jack make unexpected changes in his love life? Could he eventually overcome Phyllis’ transgressions against Diane and embark on a romantic reunion with her?
If Jack falls into bed with Phyllis during a steamy reunion, this could cause a ton of problems and mess up everyone’s current story. Though, it may make it incredibly strange for Kyle and Summer to have their parents sleeping together while they’re going through a messy divorce.
Meanwhile, I just want to hear Tucker’s sarcastic comments about everything and how he will react to the news if it happens.
