‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Hiding is Over?
Y&R’s Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) has news for Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei). Phyllis is ready to return to Genoa City.
She has been on the run for a while now. She faked her own death with the help of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). They pinned this on Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) and she went to jail.
When Phyllis realized that being “dead” meant she could no longer be with her kids, she regretted her decision. She also saw her children grieving and she did not want them to suffer anymore. Jeremy realized she was dangerous because she could try to pin it all on him.
He decided to kill her and felt it would be easy to get away with since she was already dead. When he attacked her, she killed him self-defense.
She has been on the run because she is wanted by the law for faking her death and killing Stark. She has met with her children, but no one else has seen her. She has a lot to answer for, but she has gotten Michael Baldwin to agree to help her as much as possible.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Why Now?
It is possible that Michael and Phyllis have come up with a plan for her return. Or Michael may have convinced Phyllis that it is time for her to come back and face the music.
He discussed this with his wife, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey Bregman). Phyllis actually could benefit from some time behind bars. It might help her grow in maturity and help her think before she makes future rash decisions.
Michael feels that she needs to realize that her choices have serious consequences. Is she ready to face whatever comes her way?
Phyllis also may feel that it is time to return, no matter what happens, because she needs to try to help her children. Summer marriage to Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) has crumbled because Summer lied to Kyle about Phyllis.
Summer was trying to save her mother, but she did so at her husband’s expense, and he can’t forgive that.
