When Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) talks to Liam about the situation, he tells him that he loves him and will always support him. But part of that love and support is wanting what is best for him. Wyatt believes that Liam needs to go home to Hope and talk about the situation. He thinks that Liam should forgive Hope and they should work on their relationship.
When RJ Forrester (Josh Hoffman) listens to his sister’s pain and tries to comfort her, he says that it was just a kiss and a mistake. RJ believes that everything will be okay, and Liam will be able to forgive Hope and move forward. He believes that a kiss should not mean the end for the couple.

When Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) tells Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) about the trouble between Liam and Hope, he jumps to the conclusion that his son Thomas Forrester (Matt Atkinson) was responsible. He is furious that Thomas went back to his old ways. He is surprised to hear from Brooke that Hope was actually the one who kissed Thomas in Rome.
At that point, they both reminisce about how they have been in those shoes before. The excitement and euphoria of the show overtook them, and they responded to those feelings. They seem to understand what Hope went through and commiserate.
Brooke and Ridge both understand reacting impulsively and they understand how couples can get back together and work things out. Hopefully they will be encouragement for Liam and Hope to stay the course and forgive each other.
