90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days has introduced us to David and his girlfriend, Sheila. He is completely deaf and cannot even read lips. He was born this way and has mastered American Sign Language.
However, his girlfriend, Sheila, who lives in the Philippines is also hearing impaired. She lost most of her hearing when she was a child and wears hearing aids to assist her hearing. She has yet to learn sign language, so this is going to be quite difficult for the two of them.

90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days Spoilers – David and Sheila’s Love Story
David has had a string of bad relationships and has always felt different since he is deaf. He has a few friends that he can lean on but has invested a lot in this trip to see Shelia. As soon as they met, he thought that she was so beautiful and just couldn’t stop touching her and kissing her.
One of the first red flags for David was the fact that Shelia’s city is busy and there is a lot of traffic. He panicked because he was afraid someone was going to hit them.
The couple then went out to eat and he was shocked by the restaurant and how dirty it was. Even when he asked to use the restroom there, it was broken. Shelia then told him that he could just go outside and she showed him the corner of the building where he could do so.
Of course, this is not at all the way he thought things would be. He told the cameras, “This is not how I pictured our first day together. Yes, it’s embarrassing. But it was an emergency. I did finally get to go pee. Pooping was another story.”
When they finally got to the hotel, David was shocked to see all of the insects in the room and the ways were crumbling. This first day was pretty intense for David and now he fully knows the way that Shelia lives.
It was a very stressful day for him, but he was able to spend some quality time with Shelia at the end of it all. Is this going to be a factor in if they stay together? Will this convince him that she is the one for him and he should move her to the States?
