According to court documents filed by Kevin, his separated wife believes she is entitled to $248,000 per month in child support because some of her alleged “expenses” include her own plastic surgery.
According to Kevin’s forensic accountant, the costs Christine Baumgartner claims to justify a quarter-million dollar monthly salary are ridiculous. Christine claims more than $100,000 in cosmetic surgery as one of her costs.
Thousands of dollars have also been spent on boutique shopping, large ATM withdrawals, and other costs that Kevin’s representatives claim have nothing to do with child support.
Christine cites a lot of her spending on credit card invoices, including her own attorney’s fees. Costner’s accountant also claims that there are one-time costs unrelated to child support, such as building loans.

According to the paperwork, Kevin has been covering all of the children’s expenditures and will continue to do so. He claims that the acceptable price is $51,940 per month, which is what he is now paying.
Christine, as previously reported, has decided to leave the family home and find a place of her own by the end of August. Laura Wasser, his attorney, will be in court on July 5 to ensure Christine is ordered out by the end of August, if not sooner.
Christine is expected to challenge the legitimacy of the prenup at that hearing, while Wasser will maintain that it is rock solid.
If Costner is telling the truth and Baumgartner is using the money for plastic surgery, there should absolutely be something done. There is no reason to add an elective surgery like that to the costs of child support and should even be criminal. We’ll keep you up to date with what happens next at the hearing.
