‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggest that everyone has been thrown by a loop by Ashley Abbott’s (Eileen Davidson) reaction to her brother’s latest move. No one can quite figure out what she plans to do next. It appears that she really likes to keep people guessing.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Feud
Y&R’s Ashley has been battling out with her brother, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) for a while now. She really believes that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is bad news.
Ashley is furious that Jack is going to marry Diane, after everything Diane put him through in the past. She also believes that Diane is ambitious and dangerous for Jabot.
The bickering and arguing have gotten to be too much for their sister, Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland). She calls a family meeting with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor), Jack and Ashley.
She reminds them how important family is and that they need to stop this toxicity. They all listen but still struggle to accept each other’s decisions and give each other a chance.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Ashley’s Change
Ashley talks with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and he really wants her to get rid of her anger towards Diane. He wants them to take on a new business venture that will out compete Jabot.
Tucker wants her to put her energy toward building something new and amazing with him, rather than fighting with her brother. Ashley seems to be interested, but her intentions are not really clear.
At least she is starting to think about something else and has ideas up her sleeve. Maybe she will continue to look at how to block Diane’s progress at Jabot or she will invest her time and energy into a new company.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: The Bombshell
Just when the siblings were tentatively agreeing to try to make some progress relationally, Jack put out a press release that he is giving Diane the job of Chief Talent Officer. Billy pitches a fit. He can’t believe Jack did this without consulting him. He sees that what Ashley warned him of has come to pass.
Diane has secured an amazing job for herself at Jabot that she may not really be qualified for. This concerns him. He also fears that Ashley is going to go ballistic and will have all the ammunition she needs for her coup.
Shockingly, Ashley doesn’t react as everyone expects. They are all stunned and to be honest, a little freaked out. She doesn’t bite Diane’s head off and she doesn’t explode when she meets Billy.
Ashley doesn’t jump down Jack’s throat either. She calmly takes it and doesn’t seem to be very troubled. What do you think Ashley is up to? Is she letting Jabot sink or swim?
