‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) really has his hands full. He is trying to get Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) to see things his way, but is he really going to make an impact?
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Broken Record
While Ashley seems to appreciate what her sister Traci Abbott (Beth Maitland) tried to do as she tried to help reconcile the family, she still can’t seem to let her frustration go.
She continues to harp on the fact that her brother Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) is making a terrible choice trusting Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).
Ashley believes that Diane is going to destroy Jabot. She has even considered trying to organize a coup with the board so that Jack can be ousted from the company. Ashley constantly complains about how terrible Diane is and how she is going to destroy everything.
Tucker tells Ashley that she needs to let go of her hatred. If Jack doesn’t want to listen, Tucker thinks that Ashley should just let him do what he wants to do.
Later Jack can see for himself what Diane is like. Tucker wants Ashley to let go of the hatred and anger that she is carrying. He makes a few suggestions to Ashley to try to help her consider other options.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Tucker’s Ideas
Tucker suggests that they can wait and see what happens with Jabot and if it starts to fail, they can sweep in and gather it up under their leadership. Ashley doesn’t seem very interested in watching Jabot fail though.
Then Tucker suggests that they go into a business together, which is competitive to Jabot. He suggests calling it ‘Simply Ashley’.
This seems to be appealing to Ashley, and they start to talk and make some preliminary plans. She starts to simmer down and not talk of Jack, Diane, and Jabot so much. This is truly what Tucker wants.
Just as she relaxes though and begins to get her mind off of Jabot, her brother releases the press release that Diane is going to become Chief Talent Officer at Jabot. This powerful position being given to her nemesis is going to make Ashley have another conniption fit all over again.
Is Tucker going to be patient through all of this? When will he decide that enough is enough? If Ashley can’t let this go, is he going to be done with her?
