President Joe Biden’s son Hunter Biden will be pleading guilty to a trio of crimes but is likely to avoid jail time. Hunter has been under investigation for five years for tax and financial allegations.

This, coupled with the fact that he purchased a handgun by lying and saying he did not use drugs. Of course, he wrote an autobiography detailing his addiction to cocaine, completely contradicting himself.

The agreement with prosecutors follows a five-year inquiry and still needs to be authorized by a federal court. Prosecutors, according to sources, will suggest probation, sparing the president’s son from going to jail but putting him in hot water if he breaks the rules. He will enter guilty pleas to two misdemeanor tax offenses.

According to a document U.S. Attorney for Delaware David Weiss submitted to the court on Tuesday, the criminal information accuses the defendant of tax offenses, including “namely two counts of willful failure to pay federal income tax,’ as well as ‘one count of possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

Hunter Biden‘s and his father’s guilty plea is unlikely to be the end of the affair. House Republicans have already launched various investigations into the Biden administration, focused on his family members. Hunter Biden revealed the probe in December 2020, only weeks before his father assumed the presidency. At the time, it had been going on for roughly two years.

It’s crazy that this was kept from the public during the election and how we were meant to turn a blind eye. Now, with all of it finally coming to fruition, he may not even have to face jail time which feels like a slap in the face. If any of us were to do a fraction of the things he committed, we would be locked up for years.

What do you think? Can you believe that Hunter is probably going to avoid jail time and what do you think should have happened? Let us know in the comments below.
