‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers suggest that Portia Robinson may find it challenging to forgive Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner). Their marriage is already in a strained state, and there may not be a way to move forward together.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: The Kiss
Portia and Curtis faced struggles from the beginning of their marriage. At their wedding, Curtis found out that Portia had kept something from him for years.
He found out that GH’s Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) is actually his biological daughter. Until this time, Trina has been raised with the belief that Marcus Taggert (Réal Andrew) was her father.
This revelation caused Curtis and Portia to become estranged. It was a lot for them to work through. During that time Curtis felt pretty confused and overwhelmed. He ended up confiding in Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
They ended up sharing a kiss. Curtis has felt badly about that but never talked to Portia about it. Jordan still has feelings for Curtis, so it has been difficult for her to get over the kiss they shared.
When Jordan meets Zeke Robinson (Gavin Houston), they share a passionate evening together. When they first meet, Jordan admits she is having a difficult time getting over a kiss with an ex. Zeke is the one who ends up filling Portia in on what her husband has done.
‘General Hospital’ Spoiler: Can They Make It?
Are Curtis and Portia able to overcome this? Portia doesn’t seem as upset that a kiss was shared during a time when she and Curtis were estranged. Her biggest concern is that Curtis did not share it with her.
They are trying to be honest and transparent so they can rebuild their relationship, and this is a serious misstep. This does not help them rebuild trust.
This has been weighing on Curtis for a while. When GH’s Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) came to visit, Curtis admitted it to him. So, he has been able to share with friends about what he experienced and what he feels, but he was not able to be upfront with Portia.
Is this because he felt too guilty or because he was still trying to punish her for keeping such a big secret from him?
This is all quite complicated because Curtis and Portia are bringing a lot of baggage to their relationship. It is pretty clear if they want to succeed as a couple though, they are going to have to agree to hold one another to high standards of honesty. They are also going to have be willing to forgive one another and move forward.
