During the first season of Love Is Blind, viewers were introduced to Jessica Batten. Even though she didn’t find love on the show, she ended up meeting the love of her life shortly after it aired.
She and Benjamin McGrath were happy to share that they have welcomed their first child together. They wanted to share all of their joy with fans on social media, so this weekend, that is what fans got!

This weekend on Instagram, Jessica added some photos of herself with Benjamin and baby Dax. She wrote, “Meet Dax. June 9, 2023.” Jessica constantly talked about how she wanted children when she was on Love Is Blind.

When she matched up with Mark Cuevas, they made it to the isle, but she couldn’t go through with the marriage to him. This was just not what she was ready for and things just didn’t go well between the two of them. She met Benjamin and instantly knew that he was the one for her. They began dating in June 2020.
In 2021, Benjamin, who is a doctor, proposed to her in Sepetmber and of course, she was so happy about their engagement. At that time, she told her fans, “I was totally overwhelmed. I don’t think it has quite sunk in, but I’m defintely floating somehwere on cloud nine. It’s been really, really exciting!”
The two of them wed in August 2022 and ever since, Jessica has been sharing with her followers just how happy she is these days.
McGrath has two other children from a previous marriage and although, Jessica loves being a stepmother to them, she wanted to have a family of her own. She has been open about her faith in the Lord and that was something that she and Mark could never agree on.
As much as he loved her and would have done anything for her, she just knew that their differences would get the best of them.
Jessica and Benjamin are floating on a cloud now that their son has been born. Dax is going to get a lot of love from the two of them and Jessica just can’t contain how happy she is. She has posted quite a few photos of Dax on her Instagram account.
