‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) marriage is almost definitely over.
Now that Summer is on the lamb with her mother, Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), I don’t see Kyle holding back at all and will hit her with the papers sooner than later. However, that may not be the only thing that Summer has to be worried about!
Summer might even lose her career over this as Kyle could not want to work beside her anymore. He could give her the boot, hire someone else, and Summer and Phyllis would both be out there with nothing.
Sadly, this could cost Summer everything she has, and honestly, it is all of her mother’s fault for dragging her into this situation.

Meanwhile, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) could slowly change her tune on the situation. She has been trying to have compassion for the situation that Summer was put in, but if Summer continues to stand by her mother, this compassion could find the door and leave. Why would Diane continue to try to support Summer if she’s just going to stab her in the back?
This would make for the perfect opportunity for Diane to get a great job next to her son and future husband. Summer’s role could be filled by Diane and together they would be able to work as a family and move on and forget what happened with Phyllis and Summers.
While it may be a great day in the end for Diane, it’s going to be the worst of days for Summer, and she may end up regretting her decision to help her mom when she realizes it cost her a marriage and her dream job!
