‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicates that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) may be ready to call it quits with his wife, Summer Newman (Allison Lanier). She has hurt him terribly and he’s not sure he can make his way clear due to her deception.

Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) was the first one to see her mother alive. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) faked her death, along with the help of Jeremy Stark (James Hyde). They framed Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters), who is Kyle’s mother.
When Summer found out that her mother was alive, she was shocked. She couldn’t barely fathom what her mother had done. But when she heard about it, she realized how much trouble her mother is really in.
She couldn’t bear to lose her mother to prison. She realized that she had to help her mother figure out how to get out of the mess she is in.
Summer kept trying to see her mother and kept lying to Kyle to do so. She didn’t tell Kyle what she discovered. She also did not let him know the truth, that his mother is innocent of the “murder” of Phyllis.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoiler: Kyle is Furious
Kyle begins to suspect that something is up and begins to follow Summer. He finds her at the Athletic Club when she said she was going to Marchetti. He then follows her another time and sees that she goes there again.
He follows her and enters the room and sees Phyllis, Daniel Romalotti (Michael Graziadei) and Summer.
None of the explanations make sense and Kyle realizes that Summer has known that her mother is alive for a long time. She chose her mother over Diane and over Kyle. That shatters him. She has lied to him for weeks and has put their family in jeopardy.
This betrayal is over the top. Summer is still trying to justify her actions and isn’t admitting that she did the wrong thing. This makes him see her clearly for the first time and he doesn’t like what he sees.
What is ahead for Kyle and Summer? Are they finished? Will Kyle kick Summer out of the Abbott mansion?
