‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) was set up by Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and was sent to jail.

Phyllis faked her own death, pinned it on Diane as payback, but as we’ve seen not everything went according to plan and now Phyllis is on the run after killing Jeremy Stark (James Hyde)!

Phyllis has reached out to her children, and now we think Summer Newman (Allison Lanier) may try to convince Diane to help clear her mother’s name, even after she was pinned for her false murder.

While it may seem absurd, I think there is a chance that Diane would actually agree, so long as they could put an end to their decades-long battle and move on with their lives.

‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Could Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) HELP Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) Stay Out Of Prison?

Summer will try to do anything she can if it means that her mother can come home, and perhaps they will continue to try to spin the idea that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) was responsible for everything that happened and that he is the one to blame.

Could they spin it so that Phyllis was the innocent bystander in all of this? I think that’s what they’ll try to do.

While Diane may agree to help in a court case, I don’t think she’ll buy the story at all. But rather just do it to end the fight and make sure that she can continue to live in Genoa City a free woman and continue living her dream by being with her family.

She’ll be able to put aside the stupid back and forth between her and Phyllis, but make so mistake, this will come back up.

There is no way that Phyllis will be able to drop this and move on like nothing happened. She will always hate Diane no matter what, even if she helps keep her out of prison!

What do you think? Could Diane actually help Phyllis stay out of prison and do you think Phyllis will be able to ever move on? Let us know in the comments below.
