The world of true crime can be pretty intense when specific stories come out. One story that we have been following is of a Texas teenager who killed his entire family. Cesar Olalde, who is 18 years old, was arrested this week and charged with murder.
He allegedly killed his parents and his two siblings. When he was asked why he did it, he told the police that they were all cannibals and they were going to eat him. Let’s find out more about this bizarre case.
True Crime: What Happened?
Olalde has been charged with the capital murder of Reuben Olalde and Aida Garcia, his sister Lisnet Olalde and his brother Oliver Olalde. In Nash, Arkansas, on the border of Texas, the teen was taken into police custody.
True Crime: Family Killed By Teenager After He Said That They Were Really All Cannibals
The police got a report that there was a young man who was threatening to kill himself. It was clear, from who called in the report, that he had already caused harm to his family.
The police made it to the home and that is when they found the suspect barricaded inside of the home. The officers were then told that there were people inside the home that were dead.
The teen shot everyone in his family and the police ended up having to negotiate with him in order to get him out of the house to make sure who else was inside. When they got in, they saw that there were four bodies in the home.
The police stated, “It appeared as if the victims had been shot at various places in the residence and drug to the bathroom. Multiple spent cartridge casings were found in the home and there was blood spatter on multiple surfaces.”
Lisbet had a co-worker come to her house to check in on her after she didn’t show up for work. When they got no response from anyone in the house, they called the police. Apparently, the teen also pointed a gun at the co-worker.

When the co-worker was asked about what the teen told them, they told the police, “he had killed his family because they were cannibals, and they were going to eat him.”
This case is crazy and we will continue to keep an eye on any updates. As of right now, Olalde is being held in jail and awaiting sentencing. There is a GoFundMe page set up for his entire family so the expenses for funeral costs cane be taken care of.
