‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers suggests that there is nothing in love in the Winters family. They have buried the hatchets and are looking for ways to support and encourage each other.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) Patch Things Up Big Time
Devon and Lily were at each other’s throats not too long ago. After the companies merged, Lily and Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) planned to take Chancellor-Winters public to gain revenue.
Devon did not agree that they should go public. It brought about a major rift, with Devon demanding to get his part of the company back. They offered to buy his part out, but he refused and instead sued them.
As the battle was getting ugly, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) stepped in as a private investor in order to keep Jill from taking the company public. This brought Devon back into the fold and kept him from buying McCall Unlimited, which Victor wanted for himself.
Devon and Lily are thrilled to have their reason to squabble disappear. They are both back in the office, working together. They get along well and it’s almost like nothing bad ever happened between them.
In fact, Devon tells Lily that he would like to make a bit move and change his name to Winters too. Her father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) raised Devon and he’d like to honor Neil by taking his name.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Invitation to the Betrayer
Not only are Devon and Lily past their rough patch, but they also decided to extend and olive branch of sorts to their cousin, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic).
Nate betrayed them when he was feeding information to Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) about the IPO. This caused a major issue between the cousins, and they haven’t been speaking.
With the memorial to remember the fourth anniversary of Neil’s passing, Devon and Lily decide to invite Nate.
While they definitely haven’t forgotten what he did to them, they are also giving him a chance to interact with them again. Family is everything, and they need to try to restore their relationships.
What do think about these positive steps for Devon and Lily? Do you think this positive energy will continue? As Devon noted, “Everything is going well for me right now.” What do you think will shake that up? Share your thoughts below!
