‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are ready to close the week out in style, and what better way to do that than with a tribute to Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Malcolm Winters (Shemar Moore) returning?
There’s always more to it than meets the eye in Genoa City, and we’re set to get things rolling, so let’s dive into some spoilers!
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 5: One for the ages
With the dust settled in their family rivalry, Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will look forward to the dedication celebration in Neil’s name, and there will be plenty of big names there.
Among them will be the ever present Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) as Neil was special to them, and it should be a fun ceremony as we remember Neil and may even get some flashbacks.
Of course, this is Genoa City, so ‘Young and the Restless’ expect something to go sideways with Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) at the celebration.
We don’t expect him to stir up too much trouble, but it’ll be interesting to see how Malcolm is welcomed back.
Given the circumstances, it makes sense that he’d return but if there’s anything that holds true in Genoa City it’s that people hold grudges.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For May 5: Abby unsure
The moment we’ve been waiting for is here as Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will have some serious questions for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) about Tucker.
While we don’t expect Abby to make a scene at the celebration, she’ll have a hard time understanding her mom’s about face with Tucker and asking him to live with her could send Abby’s head spinning.
It must be something in the water in Genoa City that makes parents go crazy and make their children wonder about their sanity.
It’s something the Newman children have probably been wondering about Victor for years, then Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) matched his family manipulation by twisting Summer Newman (Alison Lanier) into knots.
Ashley will explain herself to Abby, but we’re not sure she’ll believe her mom. At the moment, Ashley’s doing everything she’s accused Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) of doing, and it’ll be interesting if the two of them ever figure out they’re mirror images of each other.
