‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has threatened and offered to buy Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) unborn child. It was a particularly disturbing scene and I couldn’t really believe what I was hearing.
While Victor didn’t outright say he would purchase the baby, he was trying to buy Sally out by offering to jumpstart her own company.
This, of course, will never work. In what messed up world would Sally just leave her child in Genoa City so she could go pursue a dream job. It’s insane and honestly, Victor is disgusting for even suggesting it.
What we will find interesting is how Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) react to the news and what they will do.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) And Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) Run Away Together After Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) Threat?
I think Nick will push back against his father but won’t make any serious threats toward him, and instead will try to reason with him. However, in the background, I think Adam could convince Sally to run away with him, to wherever.
It doesn’t matter, as long as they are together and out of Genoa City. This would be a huge blow to Victor to see his grandchild and son leave, but, honestly, it is what needs to happen.
Fans have been wanting Adam and Sally to get back together for a long time, and were hoping that the pregnancy would be the vehicle for this to happen.
However, things took a weird turn when Nick wanted to stay with Sally and raise the child as his own. Honestly, this has been a longtime coming.
The only thing that would kind of stink is not getting to see Adam and Sally as much, as most of this storyline would probably take place off-screen. While they would probably give us updates, I’m not sure fans would be okay with this.
What do you think? Can you believe that Victor offered to buy Sally out of her own child and how do you think Adam and Nick will react? Could Sally and Adam take off from Genoa City together? Let us know in the comments below.
