Drake Bell appears to be in an awful state as he inhales from what appears to be a nitrous oxide-filled balloon, a worrying action that comes after some trying weeks for him.
Tuesday, the former child star spotted suckling on a fully inflated balloon while parked outside his Los Angeles home. One of the images shows what appears to be a canister of some kind, which is similar to a normal nitrous oxide bottle. Without taking hard drugs, inhaling nitrous oxide is a risky but common way to feel high for a brief period of time and experience a head rush.
Drake has used nitrous oxide before; in fact, he was caught doing the exact same thing in December when his young kid was also in the car.

And yes, it is harmful to one’s health to breathe nitrous oxide without a doctor’s supervision or direction. Drake has obviously been struggling lately. He revealed to Twitter fans last week that he was considering suicide as a result of the harassment and assaults he had received since his conviction for child endangerment in 2021 and the subsequent dubbing of him as a “pedophile.”
In addition, only a few days before to his wife filing for divorce, he had been reported missing in Florida before resurfacing in what turned out to be a false alarm.
We are aware that Drake and his now-ex-wife are engaged in a custody dispute over their children, and that things have grown so nasty behind the scenes that Drake has been sending his family ominous messages that have them fearing for his safety and his life. The man has seen many ups and downs recently, from a rocky music career to more legal problems like a DUI arrest and bankruptcy.
