‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers suggests that it is time for Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) to walk away from his relationship with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope). The time has already come for him to find someone who doesn’t have so much emotional baggage.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Indication of the Future
Nick and Sally went to the doctor’s office with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) to see the baby. The ultrasound shows that all is well, and that Sally and Adam are having a girl.
After the appointment, Adam and Sally can’t stop talking about their new bundle of joy. There is a lot of anticipation that Nick just can’t be a part of no matter how hard he tries. He is not the father.
In the past, Adam seemed like the ridiculous third wheel as Nick and Sally were close. Now that Adam and Sally are bonding over the baby, Nick seems like the odd man out more and more.
There is nothing he can do about that because it is not his child. There is no way to exclude Adam. This is only going to get more pronounced as Adam and Sally co-parent.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Father Pressure
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) wants Nick to join Adam working at McCall Unlimited. He has just bought the company from Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and he is going to put Adam in charge. The company is in shambles. He wants Nick to help his brother.
Nick doesn’t have any desire to work with his brother. He already has to manage dealing with Adam as it relates to Sally. He doesn’t want to put more hours in working with him.
It seems that Victor thinks that Adam is going to need the help. He also thinks that he needs to encourage his sons to get along even better going forward. He won’t be around forever, and he wants his children to work together to continue his powerful legacy.
Victor also thinks that Sally is bad news. She has entrapped both Adam and Nick in a relationship with her and she is having a Newman heir. According to Victor, she has made herself part of the family.
In his mind, this is an awful predicament. Nothing can remedy it now though, so he does want Nick to be done with her and leave the future to Adam and Sally.
What do you think? Will Nick feel overwhelmed by being a third wheel and frustrated enough by his father’s pressure to dive out of this relationship? Or will his father’s interference make him even more stubborn? Leave your thoughts below!
