‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicates that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) may have me a poor choice in recruiting Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to be his partner.
While Phyllis has been as scheming and crazy as they come at times, she has powerful emotional ties that Stark didn’t consider.
‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Getting Revenge
Jeremy Stark had been partners with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). She tried to break off ties with him and she returned to Genoa City. He followed and tried to manipulate and scare her into continuing their partnership.
She didn’t want anything more to do with Stark and Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) came up with a plan to help them get rid of Stark once and for all. Jack stole some jewelry from Nikki Newman (Melody Scott Thomas) and planted it on Stark, framing him for the theft.
Stark beat the charges quickly and returned to Genoa City to get his revenge. When he returned, he got a stern warning from Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Chance said he would be watching Stark and Jack and they had better leave each other alone and stay out of trouble.
In order to get revenge on Diane, Stark really needed help. He watched Phyllis crash and burn because of her terrible choices. She kept interfering in her children’s lives, and they pushed her away. She gets drunk and almost gets hit by a car.
Stark encourages her to realize that she has no one and nothing to lose, so she should join him in getting sweet and total revenge on Diane.
‘The Young and Restless’ Spoilers: Miscalculation
While Stark chose Phyllis because she was at the end of her rope and blamed her fall on Diane, it was obviously something he is going to regret. As a team, they planned her fake death and are blaming it on Diane. Now Phyllis has to leave town. She has to get away and start a new life.
What Stark did not bank on is Phyllis‘ deep love for her children. Although she goes about connecting with them all wrong, she really does think she is doing it for their best.
When Stark tells her she has to leave town right away, she is hesitant. She is regretful that she is causing her children grief. She does not want to leave them forever.
Will Stark get Phyllis to leave town, or will she let the cat out of the bag? What you think? Is she going to show up and blame Stark for everything? Let us know your thoughts!
