The Royal Family is reportedly creating a Coronation plan excluding Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, indicating a potential snub towards the couple.
The Royals Are Reportedly Making Plans To Exclude Harry And Meghan From The Coronation-‘Two Versions Of The Plans Are Being Drawn Up’
It is not yet known if Meghan and Harry will be present at King Charles III’s coronation ceremony.
The couple is currently in talks with the Royal Family to finalize the details of their attendance as there are still some details to iron out including whether their children will be present.
The couple is allegedly seeking guarantees on multiple demands, such as the extent of their involvement and acknowledgment of their son’s birthday throughout the weekend.
On May 6th, 2023, Archie will turn four years old, coinciding with the Coronation day. However, it remains uncertain if the Royal Family will grant all the requests made by the Sussexes.
As per a source, the monarchy is preparing an alternate Coronation plan without the participation of Meghan and Harry. The source said: “Two versions of the plans [for the day] are being drawn up.
“One includes Harry and Meghan and one doesn’t. Timings are all approximate at this stage, but they are working towards a timetable now.”
As a result, it is claimed that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were given guidance by Oprah Winfrey on attending the Coronation, as they have a close friendship with her.
This is despite the fact that they were recently not present at her 69th birthday. This was a shock given that the couple had chosen her as someone to speak to following their exit from the firm in 2020.
In 2021, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex gave a shocking interview with Oprah where they made numerous accusations against the Royal Family.
During this process, they alleged that a member of the firm had reservations over Archie’s skin color.
Not only that, but Meghan made it clear in no uncertain terms that she was allegedly having suicidal thoughts. And with so much having happened, the response on social media was clear.
Large numbers of people felt that the Coronation would be better without the couple since it could create tension moving forward.
One person wrote: “Good. The coronation must go on. The family’s work must go on. The family must move on. Meg & Peg wanted out & their wish has been granted.”
