Thaís Ramone’s recent Instagram post which promoted an energy drink has sparked some controversy among fans of the franchise.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Thais Ramone Angers Fans With Her Energy Drink Endorsement-‘Make Sure All Are Safe For The Baby’
Thaís traveled all the way from Brazil to be with her current spouse, Patrick Mendes. During their stint on the program, they resided with Patrick’s sibling, John.
Ever since her introduction on the TLC show, Ramone has been highly engaged on Instagram. She documented her pregnancy in great detail on the social media platform, giving followers a glimpse into her experiences as a new mother.
Thaís and Patrick became proud parents to their daughter, Aleesi Ramone Mendes. Since then, Thaís has been sharing her journey of motherhood, highlighting both the challenges and joys of raising a child.
In a post to her fans on Instagram, Ramone showed off her new body as she was dressed in some gym clothing.
She had a drink in her hand, as it was clear that she was endorsing an energy drink product for weight loss.
The post was captioned by the following comments: “I’m still trying to work off my baby weight. Thank god for @meltdownenergy drink it’s been the perfect supplement to give me energy and help boost my metabolism.
“I’m only 12 lbs away from my goal.” This is significant for the following reasons. First of all, the post appears to be a paid endorsement.
Therefore, it is not clear if she actually believes in the product or if she is just doing it to create money.
Secondly, given that she is drinking it while having had a baby, there were safety concerns. And this was reflected in the comments that followed on social media.
One person wrote: “If you are still nursing you have to choose wisely what you eat and drink as it all goes thru your breast mild to the baby.
“I am a nurse and taught breast feeding for many years…read your ingredients and make sure all are safe for the baby.”
In response, Thais let everyone know in no uncertain terms that she had done her due diligence to make sure that the product was fine for those people who were breastfeeding their children.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “Yess check the ingredients. Vegan, 0 sugar etc.”
