During her promotion of her latest novel on American television, Sarah Ferguson seemingly made a subtle dig at Prince Harry’s book Spare.
Sarah Ferguson Slams Prince Harry Following His Memoir-‘Family Unity Is Very Important’
During the past three years, the couple has expressed their discontent towards the royal family and monarchy, sharing their experiences through a documentary on Netflix and an interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Recently, it was revealed that they have been instructed by the King to leave their residence at Frogmore Cottage. And yet, the importance of family unity was emphasized by the Duchess of York following the release of the Duke of Sussex’s controversial autobiography.
In the book, he accused his brother, Prince William, of physically attacking him and claimed that the Queen Consort Camilla had put her own personal PR goals ahead of his well-being.
Rosanna Scotto, who happens to be a reporter, asked Ferguson the following: “Do you think he’s [Charles] upset with the book that Harry wrote,” to which she replied: “Personally, I feel there should be no judgement on any level.
“Family unity is very important. In life, it’s the three C’s: communicate, compromise, compassion.”
According to reports, the staff at Buckingham Palace have been instructed to prepare for the attendance of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the King’s coronation.
The preparations include various arrangements such as seating, transportation, and dining. The Daily Mail has reported that Harry and Meghan are being taken into account while making all such arrangements.
The couple, though, have not announced whether they will attend the upcoming ceremony on Saturday, 6th May 2023.
A representative for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex stated that they were informed about the event via email from the King’s office, but they have not yet revealed if they will attend.
The Master of the Household’s Department and the Lord Chamberlain’s Office officials are expecting them to be present. With that being said, the social media response was damning.
Large numbers of people made it clear that Harry’s conduct had destroyed any chances of a reconciliation since it showed that he was capable of disclosing personal matters in the public domain for money.
And in the process, the comments were very brutal indeed. One person wrote: “Communicate, compromise, compassion” – the spare is incapable of any of these.
“The cowardly way is to spew it in public instead of addressing his family personally and behind closed doors.”
