According to recent reports, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children have not received an invitation to attend King Charles III’s coronation.

It is believed that the invitation sent to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex by Buckingham Palace did not mention their children, Archie and Lilibet. This is significant in light of the following. First of all, the coronation is set to take place on Saturday, 6th May 2023.

Therefore, there is not a lot of time for both sides to put the appropriate measures in place. Secondly, given that the coronation is on the same day as Archie’s fourth birthday, the couple may decide to make other plans rather than attend the event.

It is anticipated that both Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be present at the ceremony where King Charles III will be crowned. When inquired about whether Archie and Lilibet were extended an invitation, a source commented that the two youngsters were considered to be “too young”.

According to friends, though, the possibility of Archie and Lilibet being invited to an event will be talked about only after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirm whether they will attend. Preparations for the ceremony are already in progress, and utmost attention is being given.

The response on social media was clear. A certain subset of people felt that it would be in the interests of the whole family if the disputes could be resolved. And in the process of doing so, they felt it was in the best interest of everyone if the children could attend, as it would show unity.

One person wrote: “I hope they can sort there differences out, I lost my mum AND dad last year it’s heart breaking because if anything happens when they’re gone they’re gone.”
