Michael Darby, a former participant of the show “The Real Housewives of Potomac“, has launched a defamation lawsuit against Candiace Dillard.

According to TMZ’s report on Thursday, 2nd March 2023, the reason behind this legal action is that Dillard accused him of performing oral sex on a male. During an episode of the show, Dillard, aged 36, declared that Michael, aged 63, “likes to leave [Ashley] and go to a man named [censored]’s house and suck his d–k.”
Michael asserted that he had sent Dillard a letter demanding her to stop repeating her story, but he still hasn’t seen any retraction. And now he is asking for $2 million in compensation. Throughout the time that Dillard has been on the show, her complicated relationships with Michael and his ex have been featured.
Recently, Ashley claimed that Chris Bassett was making advances towards her friend Deborah Williams, as well as sending out improper messages on the internet. While that may have been the case, he denied doing anything of the sort.
His following comments confirmed as much: “I would just like to again, thank #rhop production and the team in the editing room for continuing to show the LIES these women continue to tell about me.”
The response on social media was damning. Large numbers of people made it clear that Dillard was coming across in a poor manner. Meanwhile, others simply began to mock her character. One person wrote: “This is one reason her musical career is going nowhere. What record company would support this foul mouthed, drama queen.”
