If you thought Britney Spears was moving into her Calabasas home to stay, you’d be wrong. Last year around the time of her wedding, she purchased a home in Calabasas in the same neighborhood as Kevin Federline where he lives with their two sons.
It was plain to see that Britney had bought the house to be nearer to them now that the conservatorship had ended and she was free to do as she pleased, but after barely a year of living there, Britney and we’re assuming hubby Sam Asghari as well, has decided to move back to their home in Thousand Oaks.

We don’t know what spurred this decision, but we do know that Britney sold quickly, to a personal injury lawyer from Texas. The bad thing is, she took a $2M loss from selling this house, but the even worse thing is if she had waited longer to sell she would have lost even more money.
Britney has said in the past that her Calabasas home felt too exposed and considering her ex-husband Jason Alexander managed to crash her wedding last year and documented the entire break-in on social media, she’s not wrong. The attorney got a lot of bang for his buck, with 7 bedrooms, and 9 bathrooms, sitting on a 1.6-acre parcel of land.
One does wonder if her decision to sell quickly had anything to do with the fact that her sons have been keeping their distance and don’t seem to want that much to do with their Mother. If she initially bought the house to be near them and they don’t want to be near her, then, there’s no use in sticking around in a place where she’s not wanted.
It would seem that as far as family goes, the only thing they really value Britney for is her ability to bring in an income, which is really sad if you think about it… wonder where they learned that from? Ahem. Hopefully, Britney will have better luck in Thousand Oaks. Stay tuned!!!
