Finally speaking out about a South Park episode in which they were cruelly mocked and made fun of, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle denounce claims that they intend to suit the show while avoiding questions about claims that the Duchess was “upset and overwhelmed” by their unflattering portrayal.
In an episode of the program titled The Worldwide Privacy Tour, which showed the pair starting a publicity campaign to support the Prince’s new book, Waaagh, the satirical cartoon launched a number of attacks against them. Following the broadcast, reports claimed that the couple’s unflattering depiction had left 41-year-old Meghan feeling “upset and overwhelmed.” One royal commentator also asserted that the Sussexes’ attorneys were ‘casting an eye’ over the animated series.
A spokesperson for Harry, 38, and his wife, however, has slammed reports that they intend to suit South Park over the parody episode, calling them “boring and baseless,” in a statement.

The primary character Stan refers to the Sussexes‘ cartoon counterparts as the “dumb prince and his stupid wife” and Kyle complains about the private jet parked outside their house. The episode is full of jabs at the Sussexes. Meghan is mockingly referred to in the animated series as a “sorority girl, actress, influencer, and victim”; this week, a source close to the couple claimed that Meghan was hurt and overwhelmed by the couple’s portrayal.
Rumors claim that due to how she was depicted, Meghan has spent the last few days feeling “upset and overwhelmed.” The Duchess of Sussex “is annoyed by South Park but declines to watch it all,” the source continued to The Spectator.
