After years of trying to patch things up with her estranged spouse, Bam Margera‘s wife has apparently realized there is nothing else she can do but file for official separation.
Nicole Boyd filed for divorce from Bam on Wednesday in Los Angeles, citing irreconcilable differences as the cause of their union’s dissolution. Together, the two have a 5-year-old son named Phoenix. Nicole is requesting joint legal and physical custody, but will allow Bam to have supervised visitation as long as he pays for it and it takes place in Los Angeles County.

Nicole is also requesting spousal support from the court. Nicole, who married Bam in October 2013, describes their split as occurring in September 2021. Nicole didn’t file divorce papers at the time she asked the court for Phoenix’s custody in legal filings she submitted back in September 2021.
Bam’s recent struggles with substance usage have been highly public, and most recently, his friend and co-star on “Jackass,” Steve-O, expressed concern that Bam would pass away. He has also been in and out of rehab, and by in and out we mean he just leaves randomly and goes to the bar.
It’s been an incredibly tough time for the former star, and unfortunately, it looks to be getting worse for Margera. We hope for the best for his mental health and hopefully, he is getting the best help he can. Perhaps the separation and supervised visitations with his son will bring him back and realize everything that has been going on is not good.
