Karrie, for her part, is known for sharing her beauty tips on the social media platform. While that may have been the case, it appears this has not gone down well. This is a shock to say the least since Kate is one of the more popular members of the firm, especially when it comes to comparing her to ex-working royal Meghan Markle.
This has been consistently backed up by polls.
However, the sentiment online has differed. In the picture here, we can see Karrie posing to the camera, she wears her latest outfit. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Realizing people hate you because you’re a young Kate Middleton lookalike.”
And this was reflected in the comments that followed. One person wrote: “Is this a joke? She is super pretty, but I really don’t see it,” while another person stated: “You definitely do not!!!”
It is not exactly clear if this hostility was due to a dislike towards Kate, or if people simply did not resonate with Karrie. Regardless of what the case may be, this is not something out of the ordinary.
Just recently another TikToker faced similar criticisms. Sidney Beckles, who happens to be a waitress, admitted that she would get trolled online simply because she looked like Meghan Markle. She also went viral as her videos have received over half-a-million views.
In her comments at the time, Sidney remarked: “I’m never trolled in person, just online. Most of the hate is directed at Meghan specifically, and just telling me that I shouldn’t be proud to look like her.
“Generally, people say good things, with the most common one online being: ‘Wow, I thought this was Meghan Markle.” So there you have it folks. What did you think about this?
