On the debut episode of the thirteenth season of the show “Real Housewives of New Jersey”, Dolores Catania divulged that she had nearly engaged in a physical confrontation with Jennifer Aydin due to the vehement argument that occurred.

Aydin, aged 45, expressed her frustration towards Catania on the show by referring to her as a ‘f–king c–t’ because she felt that Aydin had been unsupportive to her in the preceding year. While that may have been the case, Catania admitted that she refrained from lashing out.
This was on the basis that her lover, Paul Connell, managed to convince her to remain calm. In her comments, she said: “In that scene, [Connell] stands behind me and he puts his hand down my back, and I wanted to throw things, I wanted to run out the door after her and I wanted to get ahold of her.
“It might have saved Jennifer’s life this season that I had somebody.” Catania and Paul had begun dating in 2021. And she elucidated on why having a supportive companion has been instrumental in her being able to stay composed since she does not have the burden of the universe resting upon her.
Prior to that, Catania had been wed to Frank Catania, and they have two children together. Subsequently, she was in a relationship with her long-time partner Dr. David Principe. Eventually, they concluded their romance in 2021. But through it all, she has Paul by her side.
Her following comments confirmed as much: “I’ve had a lot of responsibilities on my plate, and sometimes there was a lack of patience for things because of everything that I had on top of me. I have somebody in my life that off-camera takes a lot of heat off [of] me on things.”
