Blackfishing is a term used to refer to a person who alters their appearance through means such as hairstyling and makeup to make themselves appear to have African heritage. While that may have been the case, it seems that Miona is now trying to show off her more-authentic self.
In the photo here, she was wearing a vivid green leather coat, a dark shirt, a face covering, and large hoop earrings. She had on minimal makeup and was exhibiting her real self. The post was captioned by the following comments: “Miona is a shape-shifting confirmed.”
Despite this being the case, for an extended period, Miona had been pushing the idea of wearing extravagant makeup, living an unaffordable lifestyle, and wearing fake hair extensions as a sign of being beautiful.
That could be the main reason why people thought she was scared to show her genuine self. And yet, it could simply have been due to the fact that she was getting endorsements for such products, irrespective of whether she actually believed in that look or not.
Regardless of what the case may have been, the fans on social media made it clear in no uncertain terms that Miona looked a lot better when she showed off her natural looks.
