‘Spare’ Prince Harry’s Wife Meghan Markle Accused of Flashing Her Legs In 2018 Through Her Skirt!

In 2018, Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, made a tour of Australia and New Zealand, during which she experienced an embarrassing clothing mishap.

Did Meghan Markle Flash Her Legs In 2018 Through Her Skirt?

When the couple were still officially part of the Royal Family, they traveled to Australia, Fiji, Tonga, and New Zealand. During their time in Rotorua, New Zealand, the pair walked outside publicly. 

As she was in Rotorua, Meghan donned a navy skirt and jumper from Givenchy. However, it appeared to be an embarrassing moment for the Duchess as pictures captured her legs exposed through the Givenchy skirt.

The photographs brought to mind the memorable picture of the now-deceased Princess Diana in which her bare legs were seen through her delicate lace skirt. But it was actually just an optical illusion created by Meghan’s skirt’s thick woven material flickering on the camera. 

Additionally, the stripe pattern of the skirt also made it seem like Meghan’s underwear was visible – where the lighter stripes changed to darker ones. Lucas Armitage, who happens to be a stylist, had this to say: “Certain fabrics with a heavy woven effect can strobe on camera.

“Strobing is something you may have noticed on TV when someone is wearing stripes or check patterns and this causes an optical illusion which creates a moving flickering look. I suspect this is what is happening here.”

The fans on social media had a lot to say on the matter. A certain subset of people felt that this was not an accident on Meghan’s part, but rather a decision to not follow royal protocol.

One person wrote: “Migraine is NOT a royal. And I doubt this incident was any sort of “accident’,” while another person stated: “Accidentally yeah right…purposefully…she would never follow protocol.” It is fair to say that this was not Diana’s finest moment.
