Paul Burrell, who used to be a butler to the late Princess Diana, has reprimanded Prince Harry for his aggressive behaviour towards his family.

He said that Harry’s mother would have been disappointed in him for taking aim at the firm. He also went on to state that the late Queen Elizabeth II would not be happy with his actions if she were still alive. His response came amid Harry’s tell-all memoir, Spare, in which he made several damning claims against the Royal Family.
One included a situation where he recalled Prince William shouting and screaming at him during a meeting about Megxit. Meanwhile, another incident allegedly resulted in William assaulting Harry, as the latter fell on a dog bowl. While that may have been the case, Burrell has rejected claims of mistreatment on Harry’s part.
In his comments, he said: “I know exactly what the Queen did for Harry and Meghan, she bent over backwards to try and accommodate all their whims and all their wishes. But nothing was good enough. Harry should know better, he was brought up better.”
Nevertheless, those comments have to be read in light of the following. The Duke of Sussex was condemnatory of Burrell in his memoir, as he accused him of using his mother’s death in order to generate money, as shown through his book, ‘A Royal Duty’ that came out.
In his book, Harry remarked: “My mother once called this butler a dear friend, and trusted him implicitly. We did too. Now this. He was milking her disappearance for money. It made my blood boil.”
The fans on social media questioned Burrell’s comments. A certain subset of people felt that he was exhibiting the same behaviour that he was accusing Harry of doing. One person wrote: “He can’t stop exploiting Diana – he was a servant, not a friend and that was back in 1997. I doubt Diana would approve of her butler.”
