90 Day Fiancé’s Usman Umar is being ridiculed on social media for his appearance in a web series called Yahoo Boy.
90 Day Fiancé Spoilers: Fans Mock Usman Umar For Starring In A Nigerian Series Dubbed Yahoo Boy About Internet Scammers-‘He’s Owning It Now’
The Nigerian star is renowned for his tempestuous romantic involvements with two US women, Lisa Hamme and Kimberly Menzies on the franchise. And taking into consideration that both women are American citizens and are way older than Usman, it is thought that the Nigerian is perpetrating scam so that he can get documentation to the US.
So much so that Usman has been branded as a scammer in the franchise. Despite being portrayed as a fraudster, Usman has chosen to be part of the series, Yahoo Boy, which is a term for a Nigerian who does internet scamming, particularly abroad.
This has inadvertently presented his critics, who already label him a swindler, another opening to tease him. And this was reflected in the comments that followed. One person wrote: “He’s owning it now…I said it…his next mark is going to be Mama June.”
A preview of Yahoo Boy has been published on Usman’s YouTube page, and the 13 episodes of this show will be released shortly. Interestingly, Usman and his production team not only made some grammatical blunders but also made a factual mistake while constructing the poster.
That riled up the fan base even further who could not help but make a running joke out of the whole situation. Another person stated: “An” Soja Boy Web Series? Come on, guys. Very basic English grammar here. “Ass” Director? Did anyone proof read this poster before it was printed.”
It is fair to say that there is some enthusiasm for the series, but the contents of it will be in Nigerian. However, that has not stopped fans from making their voices heard in what could turn out to be an entertaining series.
