According to reports, Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, is said to be traveling to the United Kingdom in the start of the New Year unaccompanied by his family to promote his highly-anticipated book Spare.
Prince Harry May Return To The UK To Promote His Memoir Spare
As per information provided by the Daily Mail, it is likely that the father of Archie and Lilibet will travel to the United Kingdom during the start of the New Year to clarify the purpose behind penning the book. This is going to be very critical in light of the following.
First of all, following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, there were calls for Harry to pull the plug on the memoir out of respect for her. Secondly, there are question marks over what the memoir will entail.
If it does turn out to be condemnatory towards the current monarch, King Charles III, then this will have a damning impact on his upcoming Coronation next year. Tom Bower, a renowned biographer, has cautioned that the response to the Duke of Sussex’s memoir could make or break their relationship with the British Royal Family.
Those near the monarchy have declared that the book’s publication would be unfavourable for Charles and Queen Consort Camilla. The book is set to be released on Monday, 10th January 2023. The fans on social media did not understand why Harry would want to come back to the UK.
This was on the basis that the Netflix docuseries had done a lot of damage to his brand. Therefore, by promoting his book, it was unlikely to go down very well. One person wrote: “They just keep attract[ing] attention to themselves and yet they claimed they wanted to be left alone.”
Time will tell if Harry does make a trip, but based on what we have seen so far, there is not a lot of enthusiasm for it. So was that a fair assessment? So there you have it folks. What did you think about this? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.
