Kate Middleton’s Pre-Royal Fashion Take TikTok By Storm
Recently, videos featuring pictures of Middleton prior to her ascension to royalty have been circulating on the video-based social media site TikTok. Teenage girls have been attempting to replicate the ensembles she wore during the early 2000s.
Dealers of vintage clothing, trading on platforms such as Depop and Vinted, have even established ‘Kate Middleton drops’ – collections of apparel they offer for sale that are modelled on the royal member’s prior ensembles. And by the looks of it, this has gone down a storm.
First of all, it gives fans an opportunity to look like royals without breaking the bank. Secondly, it gives people an insight into how much Middleton has changed from her earlier days. While that is to be expected given the fact that she is a member of the firm now, it still puts it into context.
As such, people had a lot to say about her clothing. A certain subset resonated with the style and colours since it showcased her in a vibrant manner. Meanwhile, others slammed Middleton on the basis that she came across in a distasteful manner.
One person wrote: “Kate looks much healthier back then. Today she looks just far too skinny and she doesn’t smile so much now,” while another person stated: “She was such an ordinary looking girl.
“This is one of the rare cases where plastic surgery has worked. Now she even has an upper lip which she didn’t have before the wedding.” Regardless of what you may think about Kate’s styling, it is fair to say that she is still as relevant as ever.
