She has been pushing her husband, Bilal Hazziez to start trying to have a baby, but he continues to tell her that he isn’t ready yet. Many fans of the show feel that he is hiding a secret vasectomy from her or that he is just not that interested in having children again.
He has two kids from his previous marriage and has been pretty open about the fact that he isn’t very interested in raising another child. Shaeeda needs to have a child by the time she is 40 years old and her time is ticking. She has pointed out that she is ready to give him an ultimatum if they don’t get pregnant soon. One fan did ask her how she would celebrate this good time. She wrote back, “Some non-alcoholic wine and a bubble bath later.” As soon as fans saw this, they immediately assumed she was pregnant since she isn’t drinking alcohol. However, there were fans that mentioned her religion and that being the reason she can’t drink.
The comments came in quickly. One fan wrote, “She is drinking non-alcoholic because she is Muslin and respects her religion…Not because she’s pregnant… I mean, she could be but when a Muslim doesn’t drink alcohol, that’s not the first indication of a pregnancy.” One fan wrote to Shaeeda, “Congrats! Now go freeze your eggs and that will give you and Bilal enough time to enjoy married life together before adding your baby blessing.”
Of course, everyone wants Shaeeda to finally have a baby, but she is still waiting for Bilal to make up his mind about another child. This has caused a lot of tension in their marriage too.
