British Royal News says that this probably wasn’t the reaction that the royal family was hoping for. The Queen Consort, Camilla Parker Bowles, is on this month’s cover of Good Housekeeping magazine. But of course, the royal trolls are still going after Camilla for her affair with King Charles behind Princess Diana’s back and are calling her a ‘good homewrecker’ instead. Here’s what you need to know.

The Royal Family took to their official Instagram account to share a photo of the front cover of the magazine with Camilla on it. They captioned it with, “To mark the 100th anniversary of @goodhousekeepinguk, The Queen Consort, The Princess of Wales, The Princess Royal, The Countess of Wessex, The Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra have all contributed to a special issue highlighting some of the important causes they support.”

The caption also said, “Featuring on the cover of this month’s Good Housekeeping, The Queen Consort discusses the work of the domestic abuse charity @SafeLives_ to raise awareness of their important work. For many years, Her Majesty has highlighted the work of domestic abuse charities and the work they do to support survivors, both in the UK and overseas, with the aim of breaking the taboo around the subject.”

Of course, it didn’t take very long for the internet to do what it does best (or worst), as many critics commented on the post with, “What an example of good housekeeping. Maybe if you called the magazine ‘Good Homewrecking,” along with, “She’ll never be my queen.”

Another person said, “If people want to see someone who really has, and still does endure trolling, hatred, vitriol etc but never complains, continues to support and love His Majesty, serves our county and champions charities and issues with full commitment and dignity then you need look no further than Her Majesty the Queen Consort.”
