On the last season of Welcome to Plathville, Kim Plath wanted nothing more than to have her own dance studio and live her best, single life. Her ex-husband, Barry Plath even helped her out with the money so that she could start this dance business like she has wanted to for years.
Her business was a huge part of the storyline and fans were very excited to see her dream come true. Now it looks as if the dance studio has turned into a clothing store and her fans are curious as to what happened.

When Kim opened up her dance studio, she was so hopeful that it would be a success. It was located in Cairo, Georgia and there is one Redditor that actually lives in this town and is familiar with where the dance studio was.

They shared on Reddit, “I live in Cairo and I have noticed the last few weeks that there is newspaper covering the windows of Kim’s studio. There is now a new clothing store in its place.” They shared a picture of the area where her former studio, Grady Central once was. The new store is called His & Hers Clothing. This really did surprise a lot of her fans after the fan shared this on Reddit.
While watching the fourth season of Welcome to Plathville, fans saw Kim investing in the studio and putting it all together. We even got a chance to see some of her dance skills. She wanted to show off her skills to a much larger audience and felt that if she opened this studio, she would make money teaching others how to dance. It doesn’t look as if she has done this though.
Redditors were actually curious if she had even opened the studio since we didn’t see a lot of teaching going on in the fourth season of the show. Interestingly enough, when she did open this studio, her children asked her if she did this so she could have her own money and leave their dad. Shortly after she opened the studio, she did file for divorce.
There was another Redditor that said they had pulled up the records of the building and it looks like Barry still owns the building. Could the clothing company be another business that Kim is opening? There is an Airbnb that Kim owns that is located right above the clothing store so it would make sense if this is her new business venture.
